Our delightful
small-group conference centre has proved to be ideal for
training, strategic planning discussions, and presentations.
See the pictures below. Why pay for large
expensive facilities when you can meet in intimate
surroundings at more cost-effective
rates? Local
area network, accommodation and facilitation are available.
 The
Heron's Nest is situated on the Otters' Haunt lawn
opposite Reception, and has a delightful country ambience. It has
been developed for flexible use, knowing that we have groups of
business people, media people and artists, and flyfishing
clinics. The room can be
equipped both as a
small-group conference
centre (networked online via wireless.)
The Vaal Cybercentre runs off a satellite
connection and is a modern facility with fulltime Internet and a
wireless hub for up to 16 computers. We do not have computers for hire but
can obtain rented equipment if ordered in advance. Both the Heron's Nest and
the Vaal Cybercentre have a wonderful outlook on the nearby riverbank,
and are airy venues.
 Talk
to us about your needs. Perhaps you wish come down just for a
day or two with your executive group, to meet and brainstorm while
enjoying the country atmosphere.The facility includes a shady porch,
large living-room/meeting room with conference table and lounge
suite, a refreshments area, and a braai lapa.
Perhaps you want to come with friends
for a relaxing break, sharing the large comfortable room as an
open-plan lounge or gathering place. Dinners and events can be
arranged.
GROUP CATERING
 There are numerous options for group breakfasts,
lunches and dinners. The photo gallery below suggests the range of
options. We can serve meals at tables on the lawns, hold buffet
lunches or candlelight dinners down beside the river, user the
Heron's Nest for set-out meals, go to our Bush Camp lapa, or eat
under the stars. When booking, ascertain if your chosen venue is
available and the price for day/night use. Specify the level and
type of catering that you want - casual, special functions, and so
on - and any religious or dietary preferences. Alcohol is bought on
consignment (we do not run a cash bar but can arrange a barman).

STAYING OVER
The accommodation facilities
include:

River house - a large
covered porch with swimming pool, suitable for social
functions. Training room will accommodate 4-8. Braai
area beside the river.

Bush cabins - a social and
braai lapa for functions up to 24 people, with swimming
pool. Caracal unit suitable for meetings of 4-8 people.
Cormorant annex suits meetings of 3-4 people.
Accommodation for up to 24
people sharing is available at the
River House,
Bush Camp,
Guineafowl Cottage,
and a further 12-16 in the
FarmStays. See accommodation

all facilities, some under cover.
Conference
meals can be arranged on request for small and large
groups. Our expert caterers will arrange your braais,
sit-down dinners, breakfasts, and lunches - and many of
these meals can be taken in idyllic settings on the lawns
and porch overlooking the river.
