 The name
Lekoa is
Sotho for the Vaal River, or iLekwe in
Zulu. The cottage comprises
two bedrooms with
kitchenette/sitting room
looking out over
a lawn
and farmlands. Traditional
Afrikaner hospitality and the atmosphere of a working farm
give iLekwe its distinctive charm. There is an outdoor braai
area and lapa.
The farmstay is situated over the road from Otters' Haunt on
our farm property, but guests at iLekwe have access to river
and island trails. More...
Kopjeskraal Lodge –
Min 10, Max 16 plus kids
 Kopjeskraal
Lodge is situated within the Dome Bergland
World Heritage Site. It is
set amongst the picturesque tree-clad koppies that gave the
first farm in the area its name, Kopjeskraal. Roam around to
your heart's delight. Marvellous birdlife and a working farm
atmosphere, far from traffic, lend Kopjeskraal a restful
air. The farmhouse is a magnificent sprawling place with
outbuildings, a large braai area, a view across fields, and
great walks in the nearby mountain. It suits bigger families
and groups. There is no access to the Vaal River but this
may be arranged on request nearby or through Otters' Haunt,
