This charming self-contained chalet is plain and simple. It accommodates 2 people in a double bed or 3 people at most. The cottage has a restful, out-of-the-way atmosphere and is named after the flocks of guineafowl that frequent the nearby field. It has a beautiful outlook over the lawns of Otters’ Haunt down to the Vaal River. There is no better setting in which to enjoy the splendid vistas of the property with its lush lawns and huge old trees. The cottage comprises a hallway, comfy bedroom-en-suite with a wardrobe and a very attractive bathroom, and a lounge / kitchenette containing an extra sleeper couch. There is a hotplate stove, microwave, fridge and cutlery/crockery for your stay. It has its own front lawn, porch and braai area, as well as a shaded parking spot. There is a TV with normal SABC and etv channels but not DSTV. It is about 120 metres from the riverbank, enjoying great birdlife and impressive sunsets.
